My rates start at $0.02 per word.
Rates may be higher depending on the technicality of your writing, the need for copyediting in addition to proofreading, and how quickly you need the work completed.
I’ll always let you know the price in advance.
The turnaround time will depend on the length of the document.
The Process
1) Please fill out the contact form. I’ll email you within 24 hours to answer any questions you have and let you know if I can complete the work within your desired time frame.
If you’re unsure whether you need proofreading or copyediting, it’s no problem. We can figure it out together based on your needs.
2) You can then email me your MS Word document. After receiving it, I’ll let you know the exact cost. If you agree to the price, I’ll begin proofreading your text.
3) I will send you a PayPal invoice once I finish the work.
4) After receiving your payment, I’ll send you the document with all the tracked changes and comments (if applicable) in the margins. I’ll also deliver a clean copy with all the changes implemented (any comments will still be visible).
You’ll need to know how to work in MS Word Track Changes to accept/reject the suggested changes and delete the comments after you’ve made the necessary edits.
